Learn to Knit a Scarf
If you have ever wanted to learn to knit a scarf, this class is for you! You will discover the different weights of yarn and needle sizes, how to read a basic pattern, how to cast stitches onto a needle, how to accomplish knit and purl stitches, and how to cast off and weave in your “tails” at the end of a project. You can also get help in the moment if you accidentally drop or twist a stitch or have questions about the techniques. Set yourself up for knitting success!
Length: 2 sessions, 2 hours each (4 hours total)

Supplies: Bring 2 balls of chunky yarn in a colour that you love and a pair of US 15 (10 mm) straight knitting needles

If you have ever wanted to learn to knit fingerless gloves, this class is for you! You’ll hone the skills you already have while learning how to use double-pointed needles, incorporate increase and decrease stitches in new ways, and discover the satisfaction of turning a heel. This is a fast and easy pattern to create your own fabulous pair of “over socks”!

If you’re a pro at knitting with circular needles, love funky socks, and want to up your game by learning how to knit with tiny needles and fingering yarn, this class is for you! Not only will you learn how to “go small” with your circulars, you’ll also learn how to use double-pointed needles, incorporate increase and decrease stitches in new ways, and discover the satisfaction of turning a heel. This class is not for the faint of heart or hand. But don’t be afraid to go small and take it slow!
